CHINESE NEW YEAR 2015 ( D-1) First chinese new year without my grandpa.. home feels different.  Eversince my grandpa left, i try my best to stop mourning and spend more time with my grandma and her laughter constantly become the most precious thing in the whole universe.  Our very simple reunion dinner. We usually have the super long table and many more families could make it, or even sometimes, they're late but still, they'll be there. According to ancient beliefs, whenever a family member passed away, you're banned from celebrating EVERYTHING. even birthdays. Omelette this eum actually half done by me cause the oil was like fireworks so i gave up and asked helper to get it done. Happy Baby with his failed Thomas Roasted Potato? guess so.. So, my sissy came back from Melbourne today. Happy Monday! I never cook before even fried eggs also i cannot. Being underestimated by my friends for not knowing how to turn on a stove because the fire kept on not wanting to light. and.. now i found myself on thinking what to bake tomorrow or what to cook. January 16, 2015 I did bake banana muffins. Recipe from  Audrey's blog . As I am very amateur starter, I google almost everything stated on the ingredients because I don't even know what's or how baking powder looks like. Following what Audrey had written down, with the little help of helper turning on the oven, this is how my banana muffin looks like. not as bad as i expect it would be.
