Walking through a part of area that you don't know at all is no fun. Okay to be honest i love adventuring and exploring new areas but not alone.. Then, i did it. I found the sonw venue that i was going to attend. Pretty far away from where I live.
I realised that back home i've been well pampered as i never bothered to know directions. except when there's just me n I man or Jennifer. I got daddy, sissy, BILs, driver, friends to send me around or even the worst case might be riding becak without letting mommy know ok.
In super cruel yet loving Melbourne City, i have to make friends with google maps, apple maps, ptv journal planner, yarra trams app and so on.
The thing is, ptv journal planner's timing is not accurate and i can't do anything about it. My sis helped me to asked the sonw instructor before, how can we reach the venue from city so she helped us to google way to go by trams from bourke st.
Then i googled somemore la! How to get to the community centre.
Ok so it says that when i reached middle park tram stop already i only need continue along Canterbury rd and turn left and right and left. I had a day off from work and school so i decided to give it a try first. God knows it was about to rain when i ride on the tram. God knows, really..
Right after i got down from tram i asked for help from my map friend and honestly this is embarrassing but neither can i sense nor read the way it asked me to head. Silly me always go for the opposite direction to stroll for aprrox 10 mins. Later i might found the right way. 😉
And after fighting over the rain and my broken umbrella, relieved feeling ran over my body to see this sight. I DID IT GAISSSSSSS.
I DID ITTTTTTT! Me, the spoilt brat, zero sense of directions, lamest person on earth when it comes to directions, was able to discover a new place by my own.
Time for closing speech!
I won't be able to make it without first of all, GOD. Followed by my map friend, ptv planner, yarra trams, my phone, my umbrella, my myki, and so on. I feel thankful and grateful at the same time that i decided to reward myself!
Which was to get the super pricey gloves from topshop when I saw that PINK tag. BYEBYE MONIESSSSS.
Anyway, on the SONW D-Day, something came up too. To cut a long story short, i woke up late, ran for 3 tram stops, & met super annoying stranger. But it was all worth it though. :)
Xoxo,
F.r.l been dreaming of her grandpa for past few days already.
