CHINESE NEW YEAR 2015

CHINESE NEW YEAR 2015 ( D-1)
First chinese new year without my grandpa.. home feels different.

Eversince my grandpa left, i try my best to stop mourning and spend more time with my grandma and her laughter constantly become the most precious thing in the whole universe.

Our very simple reunion dinner. We usually have the super long table and many more families could make it, or even sometimes, they're late but still, they'll be there. According to ancient beliefs, whenever a family member passed away, you're banned from celebrating EVERYTHING. even birthdays. That's why my mom wouldn't call this night as reunion dinner night as the purpose of tonight is only to make my grandma doesn't feel that she's left out.

I think this is just one third of our family. Not sure why people can't make it there. What matters most is grandma's happy. <3

CHINESE NEW YEAR 2015 ( DAY 2)

Off we go! To daddy's hometown.

Pictures taken over my cousin's backyard. One thing that i adore most about him is, he takes care of his mom, his little family, business and aside, he still got sometime to maintain the mini garden and fish pond.. and some birds too..
and a funny tree too.

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone. Two weeks to go, Melbourne. SIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGHHHHH.

xx,
