Hehehehehehe. It's me, updating from Medan. I just feel that i need to blog everything out so that i can look back whenever i miss..... Not sure this is Chinese or Buddhist tradition, or both. But this is how you pay tribute to the ones with the name written down there, as i assume, going to their grave is too far away and, every che-it and cap-goh (which is like the first day and the 15th day of Chinese calendar) they believe that the spirit will come back, so it is essential to serve some tea or cakes. Words are not enough to describe how i missed my grandpa. The home just feels different without him.. missed the way he call my name. As a good grandchildren, i did pay tribute as how i was asked to. Not telling you whether i believe in their culture or not but i just appreciate how they get their things done. Still on with my Hotel Santika slippers. Lol. Mom gonna scold me when she finds out.
